Alexis Plunkett is not currently practicing law, and this is her bio as it read when she was practicing.

Alexis began her preparation for a career as a criminal defense attorney in college. While working toward her Bachelor's degree in criminal justice and sociology, she voluntarily provided much-needed assistance to the criminal defense attorneys in the Clermont County (Ohio) Public Defender's office. By the time she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University, she already possessed more practical experience representing criminal defendants than many licensed attorneys. Continuing her education, she enrolled at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.

During law school, Alexis placed her emphasis upon criminal law and public policy. She further honed her litigation and courtroom skills by working for the Clark County Public Defender in Las Vegas, Nevada; the City of Tucson Public Defender; and the Colorado State Public Defender in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Alexis was licensed under intern practice laws in both Arizona and Colorado and fully represented criminal defendants in all aspects of their cases, including civil rights restorations for ex-felons in Arizona. During her time working for the public defender, she obtained substantial courtroom experience in matters ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies.

After working in private practice at a Las Vegas law firm for several years, Alexis opened her own office to focus on criminal defense, civil rights, and plaintiff personal injury litigation. Today, she is recognized by other attorneys as a top criminal defense lawyer in Southern Nevada. Her true measure of success is the satisfaction of her clients and the defense of their rights.
